Job Summary
The Inventory & Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control and store management at Ródo Restaurant.
This role ensures stock levels are maintained efficiently, minimizes waste, optimizes procurement processes, and oversees the organization and security of the store.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in maintaining a well-structured inventory and store management system.
This position also involves close collaboration with the head chef to ensure the kitchen is always stocked with the necessary ingredients and supplies.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment of inventory.
Oversee the organization and maintenance of the restaurant’s store, ensuring proper storage and easy access to supplies.
Work closely with the procurement team to receive high-quality ingredients and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of stock movements, purchases, and usage.
Conduct regular stock audits to prevent shortages, wastage, and discrepancies.
Develop and implement efficient inventory and store management systems to optimize workflow.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to track ingredient usage and forecast stock needs.
Work directly with the head chef to ensure all necessary kitchen items are available at all times.
Ensure all inventory is stored in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
Identify and report slow-moving or expired stock, implementing solutions to reduce losses.
Maintain a clear and transparent reporting structure for inventory usage and costs.
Manage the store’s layout, organization, and security to ensure efficiency and accountability.
Work directly with procurement to ensure accurate and timely ordering of stock.
Proven experience in inventory and store management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of inventory tracking systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, the head chef, and restaurant staff.
Ability to take initiative and work independently while maintaining accountability.
Understanding of cost control and waste reduction strategies in food service.
Requirements
