Role Overview

• Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic School Administrator to oversee the operational, academic, and sports functions of Ebedei Sports College. 
• The ideal candidate will ensure seamless administrative processes, foster an environment conducive to academic and athletic excellence, and drive strategic initiatives in alignment with the school’s vision.

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Strategic Management:

• Provide visionary leadership in the management of academic and sports programs.
• Collaborate closely with the football academy to integrate sports and academic objectives.
• Develop and implement policies that align with the college’s vision of academic and sports excellence.

Administrative Oversight:

• Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including student admissions, staff management, and facility coordination.
• Manage the college’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Ensure compliance with local education standards and regulatory requirements.

Academic & Sports Program Development:

• Work with academic and sports faculty to develop and review curricula that balance education and athletic training.
• Monitor academic and sports performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Facilitate partnerships with educational bodies and sports organizations locally and internationally.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and manage academic and administrative staff.
• Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
• Promote a positive work culture that aligns with the college’s values.

Student Welfare & Engagement:

• Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students.
• Address student concerns and collaborate with parents, coaches, and academic staff for holistic student development.
• Organize extracurricular activities and events to enhance student engagement.

Facility Management:

• Supervise the maintenance and utilization of school facilities, including classrooms, sports pitches, gyms, residences, and dining facilities.
• Ensure that the complex remains conducive to learning, training, and community-building activities.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Administration, Sports Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in school administration, preferably in a sports-oriented or academic institution.
• Strong understanding of sports education, particularly in football development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven experience managing budgets, staff, and large-scale educational programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sports and academic stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Nigeria’s sports landscape and educational regulations.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex administrative systems.
