Job Title: Quality Control / Assurance Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control / Assurance Specialist to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
This role will focus on developing, implementing, and overseeing quality control processes and systems to monitor, assess, and improve the overall quality of our products and services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance protocols and procedures.
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
Conduct process audits and reviews to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement.
Establish and oversee documentation standards to ensure consistency in production or service delivery.
Lead training sessions for staff to ensure awareness of quality standards and best practices.
Participate in the development of new product designs and improvements to ensure quality is incorporated from the start.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for identified issues.
Quality Control Responsibilities:
Inspect products, materials, or services to ensure they meet the defined quality standards.
Perform routine testing and validation of products or services before final release.
Analyze quality data and identify trends, defects, or areas of concern.
Document and report any defects or discrepancies in product or process quality.
Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and reports, ensuring data is traceable.
Perform incoming material inspections and coordinate with suppliers for quality compliance.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of industry quality standards, regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP), and best practices.
Experience with statistical analysis, process improvement techniques, and root cause analysis.
Proficiency in quality control tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Pareto analysis, control charts, etc.).
Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to identify and solve problems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Quality Control/Assurance (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt, ISO 9001, ASQ Certification).
Experience in [industry-specific tools, equipment, or software].
Familiarity with automated quality control systems or data management software.
Understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, etc.).
Work Environment:
The role may involve working in a manufacturing plant, laboratory, office, or remote setting, depending on the industry.

Salary Range
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
