About The Job
Our client, a leading primary mortgage institution in Nigeria, is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director (ED).
This role requires an experienced professional with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive working experience, demonstrating strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Job Summary
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for coordinating schedules, preparing high-level reports, handling sensitive communication, and providing administrative support to optimize the Executive Director’s efficiency and effectiveness.
This position is ideal for a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills, discretion, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing executive-level responsibilities, enhancing business performance and productivity, and ensuring the seamless execution of strategic and operational activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Executive Support & Administration:
Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, ensuring seamless operations.
Manage and prioritize the ED’s daily schedule, including meetings, travel arrangements, and appointments.
Act as a liaison between the ED and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
Meeting & Communication Management:
Prepare agendas, minutes, and action points for executive meetings.
Coordinate and manage official correspondences, reports, and presentations on behalf of the ED.
Attend meetings as required, documenting key discussions and following up on deliverables.
Strategic Planning & Project Coordination:
Assist in tracking key strategic projects and ensuring milestones are met.
Conduct research and data analysis to support decision-making processes.
Facilitate the implementation of organizational policies and initiatives as directed by the ED.
Confidentiality & Professionalism:
Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
Maintain compliance with corporate governance policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a similar Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Administrative role.
Strong understanding of the financial and mortgage banking sector (preferred).
Proven experience in executive-level coordination and administrative functions.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
