Job Description

• We're seeking a highly organized and strategic Procurement Officer to join our team! 
• As a Procurement Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our organization gets the best value for its money. 
• You'll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, and materials, as well as managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and Procurement: Research and identify potential suppliers, evaluate their offers, and make recommendations for procurement.
• Contract Management: Negotiate, administer, and ensure compliance with contracts, ensuring that terms and conditions are met.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that their performance meets our expectations.
• Purchasing and Inventory Management: Purchase goods, services, and materials, ensuring that inventory levels are optimal and that supplies are delivered on time.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitor and control expenditure, ensuring that costs are within budget and that value for money is achieved.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with organizational policies, laws, and regulations, and that risks are identified and mitigated.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze procurement data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including departments and teams, to understand their procurement needs and provide support.

Education and Certifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications: Professional certifications, such as CIPS, ISM, or APICS, are desirable.

Skills and Qualities:

• Procurement expertise: Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Communication and negotiation skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Attention to detail;High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Organizational and time management skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Collaboration and teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
