Job Title: QC (Micro and Process) Supervisor

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC (Micro and Process) Supervisor to oversee quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring microbiological and process control activities, maintaining product quality, and leading a team of QC professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to identify problems of GMP, HSE and GLP and develop improvement plans.
• Must be able to prepare quality risk assessment and handle samples of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products.
• Must be able to prepare reports in accordance with established procedures.
• Must be able to identify early if there are any potential deviations and any potential irregularities in material handling.
• Must be able to handle materials, including reagents, media, including sampling methods, and provisions for storage conditions, marking and destruction according to established procedures.
• Must be able to conduct analysis sample using appropriate equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Must be able to identify early if there are any potential deviation of the equipment for analysis and be able to take action in accordance with established procedures.
• Must be able to understand the meaning and purpose of stability study and also evaluate and identify critical parameters in batch record.
• Must be able to identify irregularities in batch records that indicate deviations to the production process and or product quality.
• Must be able to handle problems in the preparation of registration documents that require coordination with other departments and or third parties.
• Must have the ability to plan significant improvements in the preparation of registration documents in line with the company's objectives and complying with applicable laws and regulations.
• Must be able to carry out audits independently as a lead auditor, including preparing the audit agenda, conducting opening audits, the ability to convey observations during closing audits.
• Must be able to compile an audit checklist according to the scope of the audit which is used as a tool to facilitate the implementation of the audit.
• Must be able to implement change control and deviation procedures and understand the actions that must be taken if deviations occur in their work area.
• Must know the purpose of product quality review, complaint handling, return product handling, product recall, market visit.
• Must know the concept of calibration and the instruments that require calibration.
• Must be able to carry out work, solve problems, and be familiar with work processes in validation [DQ ; IQ ; OQ ; PQ]
• Must be able to identify qualification in accordance with applicable regulations and identify critical parameters, including the creation of protocols to be used in qualification execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in a QC microbiology/process control role, preferably from Beverage, food or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques, quality control testing, knowledge of analytical instrument and knowledge of data analysis and process control.
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
