The National Obstetric Fistula Centre Ningi, Bauchi State was established on 24th March 2014 by the Federal Government of Nigeria and our primary mandate was Prevention, Treatment, Rehabilitation, Training and Research in Obstetric Fistula and related ailments that affects women in the Northeast of Nigeria.

The Management of the National Obstetric Fistula Centre, Ningi, Bauchi State invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Director of Administration, National Obstetric Fistula Centre

Location: Ningi, Bauchi

Responsibilities

• The Director of Administration shall be responsible to the Medical Director for day-to- day general administration of the Hospital.
• He shall be the Chief Administration adviser to the Medical Director and Secretary to the Board of Management.

In addition, the Director of Administration shall:

• Take charge of the Department responsible for administration.
• Participating in formulation, execution and review of policies as directed by the Medical Director and/or the Board.
• Coordinating the activities of support Department in the Hospital.
• Perform such other functions as the Board or the Medical Director, may from time to time assign to him/her.

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates must possess a good First Degree in Humanities or Social Sciences, Hospital / Health Services Management from a recognized University.
• Candidates must have not less than Fifteen (15) years of post-qualification cognate experience in the Administration cadre in a government establishment.
• Candidates must not be less than a Directorate Cadre in a government establishment.
• Possession of master's Degree or any other relevant higher degrees would be an added advantage.
• Fellow or Associate of the Institute of Health Service Administrators of
• Nigeria (IHSAN) or any other relevant professional certificate is an added advantage.
• Candidate must be ICT compliant.
• Working experience in a Federal Tertiary Hospital is an added advantage.

Salary and Allowances

• Salary and allowances shall be in accordance with the Public Service Salary
• Structure for this category of officer.

Tenure

• The Director of Administration shall hold office effective from the date of appointment inclusive of any period previously served as Director in any other organization in the Public Service, provided the officer does not attain the mandatory retirement age of Sixty (60) or thirty-five (35) years of service (whichever comes first) and on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.
