Job Title: Substitute Teacher (Early Years Assistant Teacher)

Job Summary

• We are looking for a substitute homeschooling teacher. We are looking for a passionate FEMALE teacher who loves babies and toddlers and is willing to help handle babies in their homes. You will be trained on play therapy and homeschooling teaching methods, but you will also sign a 1-year contract.
• Your job is to shadow teachers in their various class sessions with these children and help handle their classes when the teachers are not available. You will be paid more for every class you handle.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND, NCE, HND, or SSCE with 0-4 years of experience.
• You must have a very good command of English. You must be fluent in written and verbal communication.
• You must have good communication skills. You must be open and clear with everything concerning your services and the classes you go to.
• You will assist when you go to a class in whatever activities the teacher is doing with the child at the time.
• You will take over the class when a teacher resigns or is sacked until we get another teacher to take the class. You will be the one to guide the new teacher to understand how to get to the child and how they can handle them. You will also do a "handing over" in the class.
