We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sustainability Program Coordinator - Child Advocacy and Social Impact Unit (CASIU)

Key Responsibilities
Child Labour and Remediation System (CLMRS):
Awareness and Sensitization:
Lead the field activities to organize sensitization programmes to educate farmers, parents, and community leaders on dangers of child labour, child rights, child protection laws, and importance of education.
Household and Farm Visit Surveys:
Design, implement, monitor and execute household surveys, farm visits and child-tracking/follow-up surveys to identify, assess, and track child labour cases within the supply chain.
Extract, transform, and load data from platforms like KoboToolbox, KoboCollect, and ODK Collect to provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on CLMRS field activities.
Remediations:
Ensure the proper documentation and tracking of child labour cases, including follow-ups and impact assessments of remediation actions.
Advise the company on proper remediation efforts and ensure implementation for desired deliverables.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) to assess the effectiveness of child labour remediation and social impact initiatives.
Social Infrastructure Development:
Oversee the planning and execution of community development projects including interventions in areas of school bags distribution, provision of books to classrooms, provision of amenities like boreholes and sanitation facilities.
Women & Youth Empowerment:
Facilitate training on financial literacy and entrepreneurship for women to promote financial independence.
Facilitate training programmes that offer alternative income opportunities for young people e.g. in the areas of nursery operations, organized pruning gangs, spraying gangs, etc.
Lead the establishment and management of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) to enhance financial resilience among farming households.
General Responsibilities
Represent the company in multi-stakeholder platforms, sustainability forums, and industry discussions related to child rights, social impact, and sustainability.
Build partnerships with government agencies, certification bodies, NGOs, and donors to enhance programme impact.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the sustainability department.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Sciences or a related field.
3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in cocoa industry.
Strong knowledge of Rainforest Alliance Standards, cocoa cultivation, child advocacy, and sustainability practices.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other productivity suites.
Must be able to design surveys using XLSForm.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability work in the field, travel across cocoa-producing communities, and engage with diverse stakeholders.
Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver’s license.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency in local dialects is a plus, enhancing communication with our diverse farmer base.
