Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team and drive business growth.
A talented Business Development Officer to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth.
As a Business Development Officer, you'll focus on developing and executing business strategies to expand our import and export, logistics, and supply chain management services.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in import and export, logistics, and supply chain management
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies
Negotiate and close deals with clients and partners
Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports
Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the import and export, logistics, or supply chain management industry
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Proven track record of driving business growth and meeting sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Nice to Have:
Experience with import and export regulations, logistics, and supply chain management
Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems (e.g., cargo management systems)
Familiarity with international trade agreements and regulations.
