We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Receptionist / Front Desk Office 

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist.
  • This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our Salon by managing client interactions, appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate financial records on day-to-day business transactions.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and experience in handling financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcomed.
  • Manage appointment bookings through phone calls, walk-ins, and online platforms.
  • Confirm and remind clients about their appointments to reduce no-shows.
  • Provide information about salon services, treatments, and pricing.
  • Handle client inquiries, complaints, or concerns professionally.
  • Promote salon products and upsell services to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Record daily sales and expenses accurately.
  • Manage cash handling, POS system entries, and ensure all transactions are documented.
  • Prepare invoices, issue receipts, and track outstanding payments.
  • Reconcile financial records and provide weekly / monthly sales reports to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a receptionist, customer service, in a Hair salon, spa or beauty industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage salon operations during peak hours.
  • Proficiency in using salon booking systems or similar software
  • Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and well-groomed appearance.
  • Sales or retail experience is a plus.
  • Candidate must live around Lekki Phase and Environs for easy proximity.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time including and weekends rotation evenings as required.

Compensation

  • Salary based on experience, with opportunities for bonuses / commissions.
