Reports to: Group Chief Financial Officer

Job Description

• We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly analytical Investor Relations Analyst to join our finance team! The Investor Relations Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Group CFO by engaging with current and prospective investors. 
• This role involves delivering accurate and insightful reports while building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse group of investors. 
• The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, a strong understanding of financial reporting, and excellent relationshipbuilding abilities.

Responsibilities
As an Investor Relations Analyst, your job responsibilities include the following:

• Support in preparing investor reports - monthly accounts with KPI's; & quarterly board preparation
• Annual budget and medium-term forecasts - support in preparing and then in presenting the annual budget
• Investor engagement - maintaining a detailed database of investors, ensuring that we communicate regularly with prospective investors. Support in coordinating calls and meetings, and periodic 'roadshows'
• Fundraising - support in delivering due diligence materials, and co-ordinating other departments to ensure timelines are met. Support in reviewing all transaction materials and identifying areas for improved outcomes
• Valuation - able to prepare an annual valuation of the business, and to discuss / defend this with interested parties (auditors, board, incoming investors, etc.)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting.
• 3-5 years’ post-graduation experience, preferably within the financial sector.
• Proven experience in equity investments - private equity; venture capital; investment banking (possibly); family offices; investment holding companies; or corporate finance department within a corporate.

• The confidence and capability to engage professionally with senior and more experienced colleagues.

• We currently run a flexible work structure; some days are remote while others require you to collaborate with colleagues at the office location. For each situation, you may have:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
