We are seeking a skilled and experienced Intermediate Associate to join our legal team. This role requires significant experience in litigation and commercial legal practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complex legal matters, providing strategic legal advice, managing cases through the litigation process, and representing clients in various disputes.
The Intermediate Associate will also be involved in negotiating agreements, advising clients on compliance and regulatory matters, and engaging in business development initiatives.

Develop and execute case strategies in litigation and arbitration.
Draft and file court documents, including pleadings, motions, and witness depositions.
Conduct legal research, prepare legal opinions, and advise clients on case merit and risk assessment.
Represent clients in court hearings, pre-trial conferences, and alternative dispute resolution.
Oversee cases through judgment enforcement and settlement negotiations.
Legal Advisory & Contract Negotiation:
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including service contracts, financing agreements, joint ventures, and NDAs.
Interpret legal documents, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and enforceability.
Advise clients on corporate governance, shareholder agreements, and board resolutions.
Debt Recovery & Commercial Law:
Track and managed debt recovery cases, liaising with debtors to negotiate settlements.
Develop and implement legal strategies for efficient debt collection.
Regulatory Compliance & Legislative Monitoring:
Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes, providing timely advice on compliance requirements.
Support clients in meeting legal obligations across various industries.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and review legal reports, case briefs, and advisory memos for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain detailed documentation of legal proceedings, ensuring adherence to court timelines.
Business Development & Client Relations:
Represent the firm in client meetings, networking events, and industry engagements.
Identify and pursue business opportunities, contributing to the firm’s growth and reputation.
Build and maintain a strong client relationship through professional and ethical legal services.
Skills & Qualifications
LL.B degree and BL qualification from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 3-5 years of post-call experience in litigation, commercial law, or related practice areas.
Strong expertise in litigation, contract drafting, corporate law, and dispute resolution.
Excellent negotiation, research, and analytical skills.
Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines.
Strong understanding of court procedures, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
Proficiency in legal documentation, case management, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
