Job Summary 

• We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Project Manager to oversee multiple engineering projects and manage Project Engineering Teams.
• The ideal candidate must have over 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Sector, with strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge and the ability to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget. 
• This role will ensure project objectives are met while maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning,. execution and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develop project strategies, set goals and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
• Supervise and mentor team of project engineers, ensuring effective resources allocation and performance management.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and accountability within the project team.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocations and risk management strategies.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standard.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring project alignment with expectation.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and stakeholder briefings.
• Oversee project budgets, manage financial risks, and ensure cost-effective resource utilisation.
• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage project issues effectively, facilitating timely resolutions to maintain project momentum.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable codes, industry best practices and company policies.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of project deliverables.
• Provide required technical leadership on all engineering and field operations.
• Oversee technical reviews and ensure engineering solutions meet project and client requirements.
• Manage relationships with vendors,.contractors and third-party consultants.
• Review contracts, ensure compliance with terms and oversee procurement processes.
• Develop project performance frameworks, track key metrics and report regular to senior management.
• Conduct post project evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future project execution.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by senior management to support the organisation's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical or other related field).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Strong leadership, team management & mentoring skills.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects in the Oil and Gas Sector.
• Proficiency in design and project management software (Ms Project, Primavera, AutoCAD)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Advanced degree (MBA or Masters in Engineering) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities skills.
•  In-depth knowledge of project management software methodologies, budgeting and scheduling.
•  Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCEZ) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in well intervention operations, well heads installation and maintenance and strong knowledge of seismic data requisition and processing techniques.

Work Conditions / Location:

• Office environment with frequent field/site visits.
• May require extended working hours to meet deadline projects.
• Ability to work under pressure in dynamic project environment.

Renumeration

• N900.000 - N1, 000,000 per month
• HMO (4 kids max)and Pension.
