Job Description

• The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all physical infrastructure, technical systems, and safety measures within the hotel are properly maintained and fully operational. 
• This role requires a proactive approach to inspections, repairs, and facility management to ensure a safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of villas, common areas, and equipment.
• Address minor repairs immediately and schedule major repairs efficiently during low-occupancy periods.
• Monitor and maintain guest amenities, air conditioning units, elevators, lighting, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure the pool is cleaned daily, maintaining proper chemical balance and safety standards.
• Oversee landscaping and garden maintenance to ensure an attractive and well-kept outdoor environment.
• Regularly inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure backup generators and emergency power systems are functional at all times.
• Maintain a log of preventive maintenance schedules for all technical equipment.
• Provide safety briefings during guest check-in, including emergency exit locations and contact numbers.
• Ensure all villas and hotel areas are equipped with functional smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits.
• Oversee property security measures, including: 24/7 monitoring via CCTV cameras,Conducting regular patrols of the premises, Restricting unauthorized access after hours, with a security guard stationed at the entrance.
• Train staff on emergency procedures, including fire response, medical emergencies, and natural disaster protocols.
• Maintain an updated list of emergency contacts, including local hospitals, fire departments, and law enforcement agencies.
• Develop and implement crisis response plans to ensure guest and staff safety in critical situations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work closely with government regulatory bodies to maintain operational permits and certifications.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance work, inspections, and regulatory compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4years of experience in hotel or resort maintenance management.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and emergency protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively train and supervise maintenance staff.
