Job Title: Contract Sales Development Officer

Job Description
We would be nowhere without our successful sales team. We’re seeking for qualified sales officers to join our sales team.
The sales officers will have a strong understanding of the sales process and how to generate leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with the sales representative must be both personable and professional.
Key Responsibilities
Product knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the features, benefits, and applications of the products or services they are selling to effectively answer customer questions and address concerns.
Lead generation: Proactively seek out new leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, email marketing, and social media.
Sales presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations showcasing the value proposition of the product or service to prospective clients.
Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals and reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers.
Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, follow-up, and after-sales support.
Sales reporting: Track sales activities, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market trends.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customer events
Required skills:
Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate product benefits clearly, confidently, and persuasively to customers.
Strong interpersonal skills: Build rapport with customers, establish trust, and effectively manage customer interactions.
Sales acumen: Understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, presentation, negotiation, and closing techniques.
Problem-solving skills: Identify customer challenges and tailor solutions to address their specific needs.
Adaptability: Ability to adjust sales strategies based on customer feedback and market conditions.
Work environments:
Retail sales: Interacting directly with customers in a store setting to assist them with product selection and purchase decisions.
Inside sales: Making sales calls and managing customer relationships primarily through phone.
Field sales: Visiting potential customers at their locations to conduct sales presentations and demonstrations.
Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
