Job Summary

• The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the market presence of our medical diagnostics facility.
• This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and promoting our services to healthcare providers, institutions, and other relevant stakeholders. 
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication and networking skills, and a proven track record in business development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop effective business development strategies.
• Identify and target key healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and corporate clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Negotiate and close contracts with new clients.
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, insurance companies, and other relevant organizations.
• Collaborate with partners to expand the reach and accessibility of our services.
• Manage and maintain relationships with existing partners.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote our diagnostic services.
• Develop and achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Track and report on business development activities and results.
• Identify and implement strategies to increase client retention and repeat business.
• Work to grow the number of referring physicians.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business development activities.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in business development, preferably in the healthcare or medical diagnostics industry.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare market and diagnostic services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Salary
N70,000 per month.
