Description

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our team at Renmoney. 
• As a Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks that could impact the organization. 
• You will work closely with various departments to assess risk exposure and recommend strategies to minimize potential losses. 
• Your expertise in data analysis, risk modeling, and regulatory compliance will be essential in supporting the company's risk management framework.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for tracking success metrics and monitoring compliance to credit policy.
• Use analytical techniques to provide insights into key portfolios and segment trends.
• Improve the credit risk strategy to ensure the business operates within its agreed Risk Appetite and customers are treated fairly.
• Work with the data science team to review emerging trends and recommend areas for investigation, support with scorecard deployments and performance.
• Work with Products and other stakeholders to design strategy & loan process flows, ensure proper implementation and automation of credit actions and process changes.
• Provide support to business and process lines on risk identification, assessment, mitigation- identify procedures and scenarios for quality controls, spot areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency.
• Risk Decision engine management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years experience in risk analysis, credit risk, or a related field, preferably in financial services.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, R, and Excel.
• Knowledge of and experience with risk decision engines.
• Experience with credit risk modeling and scorecard deployments a plus.
• Experience in creating quality control procedures and recommending efficiency improvements.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets to identify portfolio and segment trends.
• Proven track record of formulating and implementing credit policies and risk strategies.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Data Science, Engineering) to design and automate loan process flows.
• Capability to identify risk areas, assess their impact, and propose practical mitigation strategies.
• Excellent ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to ensure alignment on credit policy and strategy implementation.
• Keen focus on monitoring success metrics, ensuring adherence to credit policies, and improving processes.
