Job Summary
As we continue to grow and expand our presence in the HR space, we are seeking to hire a dedicated and innovative individual to join our verifications team. This role involves verifying credentials, employment history, and other required information while adhering to data protection regulations.
The ideal candidate must have a strong attention to detail, excellent investigative and analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. ensuring thorough background checks and robust employee verification processes that align with our commitment to delivering top-tier HR solutions.
The Verification Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of verification operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
The role focuses on client retention, business development, project management, data analysis, and leveraging technology to enhance verification processes. This position also entails expanding the verification service portfolio, leading a high-performing team, and maintaining secure data management practices.
The Verification Manager drives operational excellence through process optimization and innovation while fostering strong client relationships and ensuring adherence to data protection and privacy regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct all types of verification, including academic, employment, guarantor, criminal, address, and criminal record checks, as well as any other verification services the company currently offers or may specify, ensuring swift turnaround times.
Utilize verification portals and investigative databases to streamline verification processes and enhance efficiency.
Conduct precise credential verifications by liaising directly with relevant agencies and authorized parties as required.
Ensure all verifications are processed, followed up on, and completed within the agreed turnaround time, minimizing delays.
Systematically track pending verifications and proactively resolve bottlenecks to prevent processing backlogs.
Maintain and update a secure and organized verification database ensuring real-time accessibility.
Review and validate all verification reports before submission, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Deliver timely and well-structured reports to clients, ensuring clarity and completeness.
Maintain detailed documentation, including verification logs, fee disbursements, and correspondence, to ensure efficient record-keeping and audits.
Proactively monitor and manage the verification team across all states and regions, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance while preventing operational disruptions.
Research and implement new verification technologies, methodologies, and best practices to improve verification accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure all verifications adhere to legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
Provide daily reports to the verification manager detailing verification activities, outstanding cases, risk assessments, and operational improvements.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in verification or Human Resources, with at least 1 year managing a verification portal or similar system.
Strong leadership, project management, and team-building skills.
Solid understanding of data protection regulations and best practices.
Analytical, investigative, and problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive data.
Expertise in verification processes, tools, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
Strong documentation, reporting, and client relationship management skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with verification platforms and related technologies.
Familiarity with data protection tools and secure data management systems.
