Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Scrum Master to join our software development team.
The Scrum Master will play a critical role in facilitating Agile practices, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles, and fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of guiding teams to deliver high-quality software products.

What you would be doing
Scrum Facilitation:
Act as a servant leader and Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring the team follows Scrum principles and practices.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Guide the team in creating and maintaining a healthy Product Backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and refined.
Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team’s progress, escalating issues when necessary.
Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Team Empowerment:
Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organization.
Support the Product Owner in backlog management, user story creation, and prioritization.
Encourage the team to take ownership of their work and commitments, promoting accountability and responsibility.
Help the team identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals and expectations.
Facilitate discussions and decision-making processes to resolve conflicts and ensure smooth project execution.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on team progress, risks, and dependencies.
Metrics and Reporting:
Track and report key Agile metrics, such as velocity, sprint burndown, and team capacity, to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Use data-driven insights to help the team optimize their performance and delivery.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of learning and experimentation, encouraging the team to adopt new tools, techniques, and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies, sharing knowledge with the team and organization.
Facilitate retrospectives to identify actionable improvements and ensure they are implemented in subsequent sprints.
What we are Looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum framework.
Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
Additional Agile certifications, such as SAFe Agilist (SA) or PMI-ACP, are a plus.
Experience scaling Agile practices in larger organizations (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus).
Knowledge of Lean principles and practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
