Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead the expansion of our brands in Wigs, Ponytails, and Hair Extensions into retail markets across Nigeria.
This individual must have deep knowledge of the beauty and hair industry, strong connections in the retail and informal markets, and a proven ability to drive sales.
In this role you will develop distribution strategies for specific sales channels (e.g., beauty supply stores, salons, supermarkets) and work with wholesalers, distributors, and retailers to optimize distribution.

Job Description
Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand into beauty supply stores, supermarkets, and informal market hubs.
Actively visit, pitch, and sell Natural Girl products to retail buyers, salon owners, and independent store owners.
Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategy to maximize impact.
Maintain and grow relationships with retail partners, distributors, and wholesalers.
Ensure product visibility and effective in-store marketing at retail locations.
Work closely with store managers and shop owners to drive product sell-through.
Develop and execute strategies to increase sales volume and revenue.
Track sales performance metrics and adjust tactics as needed.
Lead promotional campaigns and in-store activations to drive sales at retail outlets.
Train store owners and sales associates on product benefits and selling techniques.
Serve as the face of Natural Girl in the retail space, ensuring our brand is properly positioned.
Background of our ideal candidate:
Experience working at a hair extension, wig, or beauty brands selling into retail.
Sales experience at a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company with strong retail distribution experience.
Experience working in retail distribution companies that place products into supermarkets, boutiques, or informal markets.
Someone who has successfully sold into major markets in Lagos, such as Balogun Market, Idumota, Yaba, Trade Fair, or other high-volume sales hubs.
Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience in sales, distribution, or business development in the beauty, hair care, or FMCG sectors.
Must Have a Car & Be Able to Drive.
Strong understanding of the hair extensions, wigs, and ponytails market in Nigeria, including consumer trends and purchasing behavior.
Proven success in placing beauty or hair products into beauty supply stores, supermarkets, boutiques, informal markets (Lagos open markets), and hair salons.
Experience in building and managing a retail distribution network and establishing partnerships with key retail buyers.
Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and shelf placement with retail partners.
Track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Ability to build strong relationships with local market traders, boutique owners, and salon owners.
Ability to navigate and sell into informal markets where a large percentage of beauty products are sold.
Experience working with wholesalers and small-business vendors to push product penetration.
Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
