Supersaver International is an indigenous retail organisation with six(6) branch outlet in Lagos State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cake Baker

Location: Ajao Estate, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Bake variety of cakes by accurately measuring and weighing ingredients according to established recipe
• Using mixers to combine ingredients and create smooth batter.
• Greasing and flouring cake pans to ensure proper baking and easy removal.
• Monitoring oven temperatures and baking cakes to achieve the desired texture and doneness.
• Properly cooling cakes before decorating and storing them appropriately.
• Basic decorating; Applying frosting or icing to cakes, including simple designs like swirls or smooth finishes.
• Creating more intricate designs using techniques like piping, fondant work, or sugar art to fulfill customer requests.
• Inspecting cakes for consistency, appearance, and freshness before presentation.
• Maintaining proper stock levels of ingredients and baking supplies.
• Adhering to food safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.
• Baking knowledge: Strong understanding of baking principles, including the effects of different ingredients on texture and flavor.
• Attention to detail: Ability to precisely measure ingredients and create consistent, visually appealing cakes.
• Creativity (for decorating): Artistic skills to design and execute decorative elements on cakes
• Physical stamina:Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy pans
• Time management: Efficiently managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Communicating with customers to understand their cake needs and expectations
• Ability to work in a team.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO, HND, OND, BSc qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.

Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
