Job Summary
The Head of Operations will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth, maximize revenue, and ensure profitability.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, entrepreneurial professional with deep knowledge of the fashion manufacturing industry.
They will oversee operational efficiency, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders—including local businesses, influencers, and organizations—to enhance brand awareness and strengthen market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth production, timely delivery, and high-quality standards across all departments.
Develop and implement production schedules, monitor workflow, and optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency.
Manage sourcing of raw materials, supplier relationships, inventory control, and distribution logistics to ensure cost-effectiveness and minimal disruptions.
Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to maintain high production standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Monitor operational costs, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure efficient allocation of resources without compromising quality.
Lead, train, and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement best practices in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Promote eco-friendly production practices, ethical labor policies, and sustainability initiatives.
Leverage technology and automation to enhance productivity, track performance, and drive operational efficiency.
Collaborate with designers, marketing teams, and senior management to align operational strategies with business goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the fashion or garment manufacturing industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and drive results.
In-depth knowledge of garment production processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and other relevant technology tools.
