Job Title: Contracts / Procurement Co-Ordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contracts/Procurement Coordinator with 5 - 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry to manage contract administration, procurement activities, and vendor relationships.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry regulations, negotiate favorable contract terms, and optimize procurement processes.
Job Description
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, bidding, and contract execution.
Develop and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with NCDMB regulations and NOGICD Act 2010.
Monitor contract performance, risk assessment, and issue resolution.
Ensure cost efficiency through supplier negotiation and contract optimization.
Track and analyze procurement trends, spend analysis, and cost-saving opportunities.
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery and service quality.
Coordinate with legal and finance teams for contract compliance and financial planning.
Maintain document control systems and procurement records for audit and compliance purposes.
Principal Accountabilities:
Oversee procurement activities, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
Ensure all contracts align with NCDMB regulations and local content policies.
Develop and implement vendor management strategies.
Maintain procurement records and reporting dashboards.
Support internal teams with contract negotiations and risk mitigation.
Academic Qualificatios
University degree/Higher National Diploma in a relevant discipline (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field).
Work Experience:
5 - 7 years of experience in contracts management and procurement in the oil and gas industry.
Technical/Leadership Skills:
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and negotiation strategies.
Experience with NOGICD Act 2010 and NCDMB compliance.
Proficiency in procurement and contract management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Ability to analyze vendor performance, pricing, and contract risks.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and supplier engagement skills.
Understanding of local and international procurement regulations.
