The Employment/Labour Lawyer will be responsible for managing the legal, immigration, contractual, and operational aspects of our exotic dancers.
This role involves ensuring compliance with immigration laws, negotiating payment terms, overseeing work schedules, handling disputes, and managing dancers' health and welfare matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in labour laws, immigration policies, contract negotiations, and workplace compliance within the hospitality or entertainment sector.
Ensure all exotic dancers have valid work permits, visas, and residency documents in compliance with immigration laws.
Liaise with immigration authorities and legal bodies to obtain and renew work visas for dancers.
Draft, review, and enforce employment contracts and agreements, ensuring dancers' rights and company policies align with labour laws.
Advise on labour law compliance, including fair work practices, non-discrimination, and workplace safety.
Ensure all dancers are classified and managed according to legal and ethical employment standards.
Handle labour disputes, legal claims, and conflict resolution regarding dancer employment and working conditions.
Operational & Daily Management:
Develop and oversee work schedules, rotations, and appointment bookings to maintain efficiency and fairness.
Manage dancers' day-to-day needs, including housing arrangements (if applicable), work permits, and personal concerns.
Ensure adherence to house rules, dress codes, and performance standards.
Mediate and resolve workplace disputes, payment concerns, or behavioural issues.
Work closely with the House Mum and Head Sister to coordinate dancer schedules and ensure operational smoothness.
Financial & Payment Management:
Negotiate and manage payment terms, contract structures, and performance-based incentives for dancers.
Ensure proper documentation and processing of payments, bonuses, and deductions in line with tax and legal frameworks.
Advise on revenue-sharing agreements and financial transparency between dancers and management.
Monitor payment disputes and discrepancies, ensuring fair and legal compensation.
Health, Safety & Well-Being:
Ensure dancers undergo mandatory health checks and wellness assessments in compliance with industry regulations.
Provide legal counsel on health insurance, medical coverage, and workplace safety standards.
Implement policies on dancer welfare, including breaks, working hours, and security measures.
Collaborate with internal security teams to ensure safe working conditions.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact between management, dancers, legal authorities, and immigration officials.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with external legal bodies, recruitment agencies, and consular offices.
Provide legal training and briefings to management on dancer employment rights and obligations.
Requirements
Licensed Lawyer with specialization in Employment, Labour, or Immigration Law.
5+ years of legal experience, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or nightlife industries.
Strong understanding of immigration laws, work permits, and employment regulations related to foreign workers.
Experience handling labour contracts, workplace disputes, and legal negotiations.
Knowledge of financial agreements, taxation laws, and contract law regarding performance-based earnings.
Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure entertainment environment.
Experience managing sensitive legal and HR matters discreetly and professionally.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
