We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Manager, Refurbishment
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
Documentation:
Maintain records of all vehicles within city jurisdiction and maintain records of their status at all times
Follow up with maintenance and refurbishment and monitor for proper maintenance of all vehicles within the fleet
Update maintenance and refurbishment checklist regularly to meet OEM and MAX specification
Vehicle Maintenance:
Oversee routine and ad hoc maintenance of all MAX vehicles across Nigeria
Develop maintenance process flow of all vehicles that can be replicated across business locations
Document and report maintenance and repair records
Periodically visit locations to ensure best practices in maintenance, refurbishment and setup are utilized
Liaise with OEMs to ensure Warranty issues are tracked and closed out Ensure that all vehicles scheduled for maintenance are checked into the premises and on VAMS
Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance and servicing
Co-ordinate with Authorized Service Workshops to ensure that service records are entered into VAMS
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws related to the repair of vehicles and equipment use and care
Responsible for maintenance of all operational vehicles (These include vehicles used by verification, retrieval teams etc.)
Vehicle Refurbishment/Disposal:
Oversee the process of refurbishment of MAX vehicles across all business locations as assigned
Ensure that churned vehicles are re-certified within the period set up in the SOP
Develop refurbishment process flow of all vehicles that can be replicated across business locations
Design operational strategies to support the disposal of worn-out/churned vehicles
Administrative Function:
Maintain relationships with Authorized service workshops to ensure that vehicles are maintained according to plan
Setup and organise training for Fleet officers and technicians to ensure their skills are up to date
Manage team to boost morale and drive collaboration between the teams
Create strategies to reduce costs, increase profits and improve efficiency
Create a budget for your location and present it to the management for proper analysis and approval
Maintain relationships with Financiers and Vehicle OEMs
Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace
Good understanding of fleet and man management•
Critical and Analytical thinking• Accuracy and Attention to detail
Confidentiality and Thoroughness
Operations leadership, strategic planning, product development
Experience in Mobility/Fintech/Gig-economy/eCommerce
Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills
Strong Project and Program management skills
Global leader and thinker with the ability to make quick strategic decisions
Highly energetic, self-motivated and proactive
Minimum of a BSc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
6 Years of cognate experience in Operations, General Management or Fleet Management.
