Job Title: Portable Digital X-Ray Data Clerk
Locations: Abia, Ebonyi, Bayelsa, Imo and Enugu
Job Summary
As part of the collective efforts to enhance the coverage and quality of TB and HIV service delivery across Nigeria, the NTBLCP has deployed Portable Digital X-ray (PDX) systems nationwide. These systems are designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our community-based TB/HIV interventions
Community TB outreaches conducted by Community Tuberculosis and HIV Workers (CTHWs) must be accompanied by the PDX system for TB screening. Selection of communities for outreaches must be based on hotspot mapping using EPCON. These hotspot maps should be shared with the Principal Recipient (PR) monthly
The Portable Digital X-Ray Data Clerk will join in all the community outreaches where he/she will work with the other outreach team members to arrange the seating/waiting area, give health talks/explain the procedure, screen prospective x-ray clients for TB using WHO symptom screening, enter clients’ information into the AI platform, provide AI report feedback to the client, and generate daily comprehensive report of the PDX.
The Portable Digital X-Ray Data Clerk will follow – up and update molecular test on the AI platform.
Key Areas of Accountability
The Portable Digital X-Ray Data Clerk will provide effective support in the following regards.
Hot spot mapping guided by EPCON
Community outreaches activities
See to the arrangement of seating/waiting areas during outreaches
Give health talks and explain x-ray procedures to intending clients.
Screen prospective x-ray clients for TB using WHO symptom screening
Entering of clients’ information into the AI platform
Provide AI report feedback to the clients
Generate daily comprehensive report of the PDX.
Follow – up and update molecular test on the AI platform.
Qualification and Experience
A minimum of OND or its equivalent.
Basic Computer knowledge with strengths in MS Words, Excel, and Power Point
Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs is highly desirable.
Experience in community work is an added advantage.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of donor environment, donor relations and donor reporting systems.
Excellent analytical, writing and verbal communication skills.
