About the Role
We are looking for the Head of Facility Management Strategic Business Unit (HFMSBU) who will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the FMSBU within GroupCo.
The HFM will be responsible for delivering customer-centric facility management services that align with GroupCo’s mission of providing unique value solutions throughout the dream home and lifestyle value chain within GroupCo developed estates and to third parties outside the estate.
You will lead the charge in strategic planning, estate administration, security management, environmental sustainability, and more as well as embrace innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and drive the company’s strategic vision while creating a personal brand and visibility for yourself, your SBU and GroupCo.
Summary of Job Function
The Head-Facility Management (HFM) will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the FMSBU within GroupCo.
The HFM will be responsible for delivering customer-centric facility management services that align with GroupCo’s mission of providing unique value solutions throughout the dream home and lifestyle value chain within GroupCo developed estates and to third parties outside the estate.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Setup and Development:
Lead the establishment of the FMSBU
Formulate and execute a strategic plan for FMSBU, ensuring alignment with GroupCo's business objectives.
Develop policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Evaluate and seize opportunities for expanding services both within and outside the estate.
Estate Administration:
Oversee the administration of the gated estate, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective estate management.
Coordinate communication with residents and stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Short Let Administration and Management:
Manage short-term rental properties, including sourcing for, contracting. marketing, bookings, and tenant relations.
Implement and uphold property standards and maintenance schedules.
Monitor market trends and rental performance and making adjustments to strategies as necessary.
Security:
Develop and manage a comprehensive security plan for the estate, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
Oversee the recruitment and training of security personnel.
Implement technologies and protocols to enhance security measures.
Setting Up and Managing Plant Nursery, Parks, and Gardens:
Establish a plant nursery to support the landscaping needs of the estate.
Design, implement, and maintain parks and gardens, ensuring aesthetic appeal and environmental sustainability.
Coordinate seasonal planting, maintenance, and community engagement activities.
Managing the Environment:
Promote environmentally friendly practices within the estate, focusing on sustainability.
Monitor and manage the ecological health of the estate, including drainage management, waste management and conservation efforts.
Collaborate with local environmental agencies and organizations for best practices.
Managing Utilities:
Oversee utility services within the estate, including water, electricity, and waste management.
Establish partnerships with utility providers to ensure reliability and sustainability.
Implement energy-saving initiatives and track utility consumption for cost management.
Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage FMSBU budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
SBU Marketing with Personal Brand:
Utilize Thought Leadership, Networking, Social Media Presence, Public Relations, Corporate Culture Advocacy and other personal branding techniques to promote the FMSBU.
Develop marketing strategies to enhance visibility and attract clients.
Engage with industry stakeholders to build the brand's reputation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and third-party service providers, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Act as the primary point of contact for FMSBU-related inquiries and negotiations.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and submit periodic activity reports for management review.
Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Successful establishment and growth of the SBU
Resident satisfaction scores.
Efficiency of short let management.
Security incident reports and response times.
Health and aesthetics of parks and gardens.
Utility consumption reduction percentages.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in facility management, estate administration, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and environmental regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management and strategic planning.
