Job Title: Maintenance Repair and Overhauling Manager

This role functions as a supervisor/coordinator of all maintenance, repairs and overhauling activities in the MRO division.
The officer will grow the business by ensuring proper layout and planning of daily activities of the workshop technicians and their managers.
The Head – MRO is a proactive leader, results oriented withMROexperience to run and grow the department.
Leadership responsibility for overall operation of Proforce MRO division is vested on him. Implements lean strategies to maximize profitable growth, drive quality improvements, provide customer service, develop a technically qualified work force, reduce operating costs, inventories and lead times through continuous improvements. Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Delegation of Assignments/Tasks:
Ensure daily, weekly and periodic tasks and assignments are communicated to all workshop staff/Managers with set deliverables against expected deadlines.
Supervision & Coordination:
Accountable for driving Lean Initiatives throughout the operations to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.
Ensure direct reports are accountable for all assignments mapped out in the division and that they give prompt feedback on progress of their teams.
Project Management:
Ensure all projects are efficiently managed with considerations to costs, timeframe, needed workforce and client satisfaction.
Reporting:
Real time communication of activities, challenges, proposals on MRO to executive management
Weekly and monthly report on all activities, projects completed, etc to executive management
Documentation:
Keeping track of services and inventory records.
Keeping a record of accounts and financial information
Follow up on requisitions of parts through the procurement officer
Account for all workshop tools and equipment
Manpower Requisition & Performance Management
Advise management on required personnel, skills and experience needed to carry out MRO projects and ensuring they are properly distributed and utilized for effective and efficient output.
Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
Budgeting:
Preparing annual operating budget
Manage operations of the division within budget constraints.
Customer Retention:
Contacting clients regarding the status of vehicles
Focusing on customer retention by building relationships
Ensure customer satisfaction at the highest level through effective services and repairs.
Ensure delivery of vehicles to customers on time.
Other duties – Handle and follow up on other duties that may be assigned by the Group Managing Director.

Requirements
Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 5 - 12 years experience.
