Job Title: IT Technical Analyst

Job Responsibilities
Provide expert technical support to end-users for a wide range of IT systems and applications, including Microsoft 365, SaaS platforms, and other enterprise business applications.
Troubleshoot complex software and hardware problems, diagnose root causes, and implement effective, timely solutions.
Assist with the administration and maintenance of IT systems, including user account management, software installations and updates, system configuration, and monitoring.
Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve recurring technical problems, developing permanent solutions and preventative measures. Contribute to a knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
Drive automation initiatives using tools like Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and tools to identify opportunities for innovation and productivity gains.
Contribute to the development of in-house solutions.
Maintain awareness of AI trends and best practices, including the acceptable use of AI systems within the organization.
Explore potential applications of AI to improve business operations and support strategic initiatives.
Maintain a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, emerging threats, and risk mitigation strategies.
Contribute to a culture of security awareness within the organization.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, applications, support processes, and automation workflows.
Work closely with other IT team members, including the Network Support Analyst, Client Support Analyst, and Web & Applications Developer, to resolve escalated issues and ensure seamless IT service delivery.
Collaborate effectively with business users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Actively contribute to IT projects, such as implementing new systems, upgrading existing infrastructure, developing in-house solutions, or deploying automation workflows.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve IT support processes, enhance efficiency, and leverage technology for better outcomes.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree, HND or post graduate certificate Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
2 - 5 years of experience in IT technical support or a related role.
CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ ITIL Foundation Microsoft AI fundamentals Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) or CompTIA Security Certifications are desirable
Experience supporting cloud-based environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar) and SaaS applications.
Experience with ERP systems and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of IT systems and applications, including operating systems, productivity software, and business applications.
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex software and hardware problems.
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols is beneficial.
Basic scripting and automation skills are a plus.
Familiarity with AI concepts and applications is desirable.
Ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective IT operational strategies and solutions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, handle multiple priorities andwork independently and as part of a team.
