Job Title: Content Editor
Location: Lagos
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Editor to join our dynamic marketing and communications team.
As a Content Editor at Kuda, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our brand voice, ensuring the quality and consistency of all content across various platforms.
You’ll collaborate with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to produce engaging and impactful content that aligns with our brand values and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Development and review of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Conduct products and process risk identification/ assessment and prepare risk assessment reports.
Develop questionnaires, anchor RCSA workshops and analyse RCSA results
Review departmental risk registers and highlight emerging risks
Ensure that the Bank adopts best industry practices for collecting, consolidating, analyzing, quantifying, and reporting operational loss data.
Facilitate Bank-wide ORM training and sensitisation programs, ensure risk culture is embedded in the system through sensitisation programs and training bank-wide
Conduct scenario analysis in line with the standards stated in the Scenario Analysis Framework at ORMC Meetings
Perform environmental scanning and advise Management on risks to the Business, conduct research and propose new ideas to aid management of Op-Risk
Identify, assess, and suggest mitigants to address strategic risks that could hinder the achievement of Corporate goals
Prepare reports for MRC and BRMC presentations.
Anchor ORMC meetings to promote risk management knowledge and culture among Risk Champions.
Other Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Development:
Edit and proofread content for blogs, social media, email campaigns, website copy, and other marketing materials.
Ensure all content adheres to Kuda's brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
Quality Assurance:
Review content for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to SEO best practices.
Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with copywriters, graphic designers, and product teams to create campaigns.
Provide constructive feedback to writers and suggest improvements to enhance content quality.
Performance Monitoring:
Analyse content performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, click-through rates) and provide recommendations for optimisation.
Stay updated on industry trends to ensure Kuda's content remains relevant and competitive.
Requirements
At least five years of experience in content editing or writing roles (preferably within fintech or tech industries).
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with SEO principles and tools such as Google Analytics or SEMrush.
Proficiency in content management systems (eg. WordPress).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
