Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts.
You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers.
You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our brand goals.
As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies
Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, Tumblr and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences
Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools
Create and/or coordinate original and engaging multimedia content across multiple social platforms
Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote the organisation and brand
Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms
Undertake audience research
Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Audience Insights
Identify consumer trends to help with planning social media campaigns
Optimise content to further encourage community interaction and engagement
Research and evaluate the latest tools and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
Analyse competitor activity
Recommend improvements to increase performance
Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement and loyalty
Manage and track budgets for social media activities
Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within the company (in-house roles)
Encourage collaboration across teams and departments
Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business/brand goals
Collaborate with other teams, like visual, audio, and other departments to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing campaigns
Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Requirements and Skills
Good to have Social Media Manager skills:
B.Sc degree in relevant field
Proven work experience as a Social media manager
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and multitasking skills.
Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
