Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary
Zino Aviation is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth, revenue, and market expansion.
This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and positioning Zino Aviation as an industry leader.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, market research, negotiation, and business strategy, with a proven track record in revenue generation and partnership development.
A deep understanding of the aviation industry and market trends is a plus.
You will collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals and client satisfaction.
As part of a dynamic environment, the Business Development Manager should be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable taking on and handling diverse responsibilities in a fast-growing start-up.
Key Responsibilites
Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with Zino Aviation’s vision, focusing on revenue expansion and market penetration.
Identify new revenue streams, services, and business opportunities to drive business expansion in the aviation industry.
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on aviation trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, airlines, aviation regulators, training institutions, and government agencies to foster long-term partnerships.
Develop and implement client acquisition strategies to expand Zino Aviation’s customer portfolio and increase revenue.
Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with key industry players both locally and internationally.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and launch new aviation-related products and services based on market demand.
Represent Zino Aviation at conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events to enhance visibility and business opportunities.
Utilize digital marketing, social media, and industry events to strengthen brand positioning and market presence.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and revenue growth, providing regular reports to senior management and optimizing the use of CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) for business development processes.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Development, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of the aviation industry, including training, partnerships, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in expansion strategies across Nigeria, West Africa, and Africa.
Proficiency in CRM software (Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or HubSpot) for tracking leads and business opportunities.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and deal-closing skills.
Data-driven decision-making using market research and business intelligence tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong persuasive abilities.
Self-starter, highly motivated, and results-oriented.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentorship.
Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
High emotional intelligence to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
