Description
As a Commercial Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing projects that drive our mission of sustainable energy solutions.
The Commercial Project Manager will manage and coordinate all contractual, administrative, legal, fiscal, accounting, and financial aspects of project execution, in order to control risks and improve the budget and schedule, in cooperation with the project manager, with whom they share co-responsibility for the projects in their portfolio.
This position is tailored for experienced finance professionals with a strong background in construction projects and a passion for the energy sector.
You will participate in projects related to energy production technologies, including both conventional and renewable energy solutions, contributing to the global energy transition.
Your leadership will directly influence project success, enhance client satisfaction, and support Siemens Energy’s commitment to delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Co-responsible with the technical project manager (PM) for the execution of the projects in their portfolio.
Signature delegation engaging the company in compliance with the signature matrix.
Ensure the application of internal/group procedures (quality plan for project execution) throughout the project execution.
Analyze client contract conditions and participate in negotiating the contractual aspects of amendments.
Actively participate in the preparation of claim and/or amendment files (Clients, Subcontractors, Suppliers).
Ensure that each stakeholder respects their contractual commitments (suppliers/clients/partners).
Verify and validate the relevance of cost estimates and contractual arrangements of offers. claims.
Ensure the application of internal/group procedures (quality plan for project execution) throughout the project execution.
Implement new financial monitoring and control tools if necessary.
If applicable, assume the roles, responsibilities, and prerogatives of World Project Controller (WPC), including controlling, managing
Create and update economic forecasts and ensure compliance with revenue, gross margin, and cash flow objectives and forecasts, as well as the legal and fiscal environment of the projects in the portfolio.
Manage risks and opportunities of their projects and ensure proper accounting methods; analyze variances between budgeted and actual costs on their projects.
Maintain up-to-date data in the software for each project in charge.
Manage insurance and coordinating financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring the consolidated profit of the project, and supervising local CPMs.
Requirements
What You Bring:
Minimum of 8 years of finance and commercial Management experience.
ACA or ACCA qualification is mandatory.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
General financial knowledge (budget control, accounting principles, cash management) and specific knowledge (export techniques, sales financing, taxation, business law, and contract management).
Goal-oriented, comfortable working in diverse teams, and experienced in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
