Job Title: HR Recruiter and Employee Engagement Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and passionate HR Recruiter and Employee Engagement Specialist to join our Human Resources team.
This dual-role position combines recruiting top talent with enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment process and implementing initiatives to ensure employee satisfaction, retention, and overall organizational development.
Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
Assist in the creation and posting of job advertisements across various platforms.
Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Maintain an organized recruitment pipeline and database, ensuring all records are up to date.
Monitor and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop and implement employee engagement programs to improve employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
Conduct regular employee surveys and feedback sessions to assess engagement levels and gather actionable insights.
Work closely with management to create initiatives that foster a positive work environment and strong company culture.
Organize team-building activities, company events, and recognition programs to promote employee well-being and collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Recruiter, Employee Engagement Specialist, or in a similar HR role.
Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection.
Experience with employee engagement strategies and initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations is a plus.
Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Salary
N200,000 monthly.
