The Quality Control Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of food, beverages, customer service, hygiene, and safety standards across all our business units.
This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of quality assurance protocols, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for food, beverages, service, and overall customer experience.
Conduct routine inspections in kitchens, dining areas, lobbyto ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Monitor and enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in line with local health regulations.
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure ingredient quality, food preparation, and presentation meet the required standards.
Evaluate and provide feedback on customer service quality, including staff conduct, responsiveness, and guest satisfaction.
Identify and address quality issues or operational inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Train employees on best practices for quality control, hygiene, and safety compliance.
Maintain detailed reports on quality assessments, incidents, and improvements.
Collaborate with the Procurement and Inventory teams to ensure that raw materials and supplies meet quality specifications.
Investigate customer complaints related to food quality or service and implement corrective actions.
Ensure that all kitchen and service equipment are properly maintained and function optimally.
Keep up to date with industry best practices, food safety guidelines, and hospitality quality control trends.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality control, food safety, or hospitality operations in the restaurant, lounge, or nightclub industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP guidelines, and health & safety standards.
Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and implementing quality improvement plans.
Ability to train and educate employees on quality and safety standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to detect and resolve quality-related issues.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to enforce quality policies across departments.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment while managing multiple tasks.
Certification in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or HACCP is a plus.
Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
