About the Job
The Acquisition and Production Manager role will be sourcing, acquiring, and managing content for various platforms.
This role involves collaborating with content creators, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the production process to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality content.
Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate content acquisition opportunities aligned with the company's content strategy.
Negotiate licensing agreements and contracts with content creators, studios, and distributors.
Manage the content portfolio, ensuring a diverse and compelling range of programming.
Monitor content performance and make data-driven decisions for portfolio optimization.
Collaborate with internal and external production teams to oversee content production processes.
Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Build and maintain relationships with content creators, production partners, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with vendors to secure necessary resources for content production.
Develop and manage budgets for content acquisition and production activities.
Monitor expenditures and ensure financial efficiency.
Manage content rights and clearances, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with legal teams to address any rights-related issues.

About You
Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Broadcasting, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in content acquisition, production management, or a related role within the media or entertainment industry.
