We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Lagos
Reports to: Sales Manager

About the Role

  • The Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue for the company. You will be responsible for generating leads, developing client relationships, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify leads by understanding their needs and aligning them with the products or services offered.
  • Implement effective lead generation strategies to maximize opportunities for new business growth.
  • Client Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with clients through regular communication and interactions to gain insights into their evolving needs.
  • Provide personalized solutions and support to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Demonstration and Proposal Presentation: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations tailored to meet the specific needs and interests of potential customers.
  • Present compelling proposals that showcase the value proposition and address customer requirements effectively.
  • Contract Negotiation and Sales Closure: Skillfully negotiate contracts with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements that meet revenue targets.
  • Close sales efficiently while maintaining a customer-centric approach to drive successful outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience from prospecting to post-sales support.
  • Leverage internal relationships to address customer needs comprehensively and maximize business opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence and Opportunity Identification: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Use market insights to adapt sales strategies, refine offerings, and stay ahead of the competition.

Negotiation and Closing Techniques:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in negotiation tactics to reach mutually beneficial agreements and close deals successfully.
  • Employ strategic approaches to overcome objections and secure commitments from clients.

Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Efficiently manage the sales pipeline by prioritizing leads, tracking progress, and optimizing the sales process for maximum efficiency.
  • Utilize sales tools and systems to monitor and analyze pipeline performance, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities.

Criteria for Success:
Monthly and Quarterly Sales Target Achievement:

  • Develop strategic plans and tactics to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Implement sales initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to drive consistent revenue growth.

Lead Generation and Qualification:

  • Utilize various lead generation methods to attract potential customers and qualify them based on their fit with the product or service.
  • Build a robust pipeline of opportunities to support sustained sales growth and target achievement.

Deal Closure and Contract Securing:

  • Employ effective sales techniques to successfully close deals and secure contracts with clients.
  • Navigate negotiations with skill and professionalism to reach mutually beneficial agreements that drive revenue.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  • Provide exceptional service and support throughout the customer journey to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Sales Reporting and Updates:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, performance metrics, and progress towards targets.
  • Deliver regular reports and updates on sales performance to stakeholders to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Additional Information:

  • Works & Interacts With: The Marketing team and other members of the WMG.
  • Work Location: Corporate Office at Ikeja and Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and any other project location, as may be required to complete work responsibilities.

Requirements
About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
