Job Description
As the Head of Network Marketing and Offline Sales, you will be responsible for driving both offline sales and the growth of our network marketing program. This includes developing, implementing, and leading sales strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention through direct selling, regional partnerships, events, and recruitment of new network partners. You will manage a team of network marketers and sales representatives, focusing on building strong relationships within local markets and ensuring the successful execution of offline sales campaigns and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Network Marketing Leadership:
Develop & Implement Network Marketing Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive network marketing strategy that promotes brand awareness, customer acquisition, and team growth through personal relationships, referrals, and recruitment.
Team Building & Recruitment: Recruit, onboard, and train new network marketers to join the sales team. Provide continuous coaching, development, and mentorship to help them meet their sales goals and grow their own networks.
Performance Management: Set clear sales targets, track performance metrics, and provide regular feedback and support to ensure the success of individual distributors and the broader network.
Compensation & Incentive Programs: Design and manage incentive structures that motivate distributors to achieve sales targets and grow their own teams. This includes bonuses, rewards, and recognition programs. Offline Sales Strategy:
Offline Sales Campaigns: Plan and execute offline sales campaigns that target local and regional markets. This includes organizing in-person events, pop-up stores, furniture expos, and product demonstrations to drive traffic and conversions.
Direct Selling and Partnerships: Establish partnerships with local businesses, showrooms, and regional distributors to expand the company’s offline sales footprint. Lead efforts to cultivate relationships with customers in the community and encourage repeat business.
Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of furniture-related events (e.g., home and garden shows, expos, community meetups) to create brand awareness and promote sales. Sales Support & Training: - Sales Enablement: Develop and provide the tools, resources, and training necessary to ensure that network marketers and sales teams are equipped to sell effectively. This includes product knowledge, sales scripts, and marketing materials.
Customer Relationship Management: Ensure the team maintains strong relationships with existing customers and prospects, offering exceptional customer service and personalized recommendations. Data-Driven Sales: - Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to network marketing and offline sales, such as sales volume, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and ROI.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, local customer preferences, and competitor activities. Use insights to adapt strategies and stay ahead in the competitive landscape. Brand Representation & Community Engagement:
Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as the lead ambassador for the company’s brand and products in local communities. Ensure that all network marketing and offline sales activities align with the brand’s values and messaging.
Customer-Centric Approach: Foster a customer-first culture, ensuring that all network marketing efforts and offline sales campaigns focus on providing customers with high-quality service and the best shopping experience. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement:
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to align offline sales efforts with online strategies. Collaborate on digital marketing campaigns, product promotions, and new product launches to drive integrated sales initiatives.
Regional & Global Expansion: Work with senior leadership to identify opportunities for regional and national expansion of the offline sales and network marketing program.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in network marketing or sales management is a plus.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong focus on network marketing, offline sales, or direct selling. Previous experience in the furniture, home decor, or e-commerce industries is preferred.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully leading and growing network marketing teams, sales representatives, and regional sales efforts.
Offline Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of offline sales channels, including direct selling, in-person events, partnerships, and community outreach.
Network Marketing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of network marketing strategies, compensation plans, and recruitment techniques. Experience managing and scaling network marketing programs is essential.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, analyze, and optimize sales performance. Proficiency in using sales software and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
Customer-Focused: A passion for providing outstanding customer experiences and fostering long-term customer loyalty. Strong relationship-building skills.
Adaptable & Motivated: Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions, customer behaviors, and business objectives. A self-motivated leader with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
