Job Title: Digital Sales and Marketing Lead

Job Overview
As the Head of Digital Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing our telesales and marketing efforts.
You will manage the team driving inbound and outbound sales through phone channels while simultaneously overseeing the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
This role requires a blend of strategic vision, leadership, and tactical expertise in both digital marketing and telesales to elevate the company’s brand, drive revenue, and ensure seamless customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Telesales Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing telesales team to meet and exceed sales targets, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction goals.
Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that drive online sales, enhance brand awareness, and generate quality leads. Focus areas include SEO, paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads), social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
Cross-Channel Integration: Ensure seamless coordination between telesales and digital marketing efforts, leveraging insights from both teams to create a unified customer journey from online discovery to final purchase.
Lead Generation & Conversion: Manage the flow of qualified leads between digital marketing channels and the telesales team, optimizing lead nurturing and conversion processes to maximize sales opportunities.
Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns (including digital ads, email marketing, social media promotions, and influencer partnerships) to drive engagement and conversions.
Customer Insights & Data Analytics: Use data-driven insights to monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness, telesales performance, and customer behaviors. Analyze key metrics such as lead conversion, ROI, CAC, LTV, and customer feedback to continuously refine strategies.
Budget & Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate the budget across digital marketing initiatives and telesales operations to ensure maximum impact, cost-effectiveness, and ROI.
Team Development: Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for both the telesales and marketing teams. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture to ensure consistent achievement of sales and marketing objectives.
Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency across all digital marketing materials, telesales scripts, and customer touchpoints. Ensure messaging aligns with the company’s values and resonates with target customers. - Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay informed about trends in the furniture industry, competitor strategies, and emerging digital marketing technologies. Apply insights to continuously innovate and improve sales and marketing strategies.
Customer Experience: Work closely with customer service and product teams to ensure a smooth, positive customer experience from initial contact through purchase and post-sale support.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in digital marketing and telesales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the furniture or home goods industry is preferred.
Digital Marketing Expertise: Proven expertise in driving digital sales through SEO, SEM, paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
Telesales Management: Experience in managing and optimizing telesales teams, with a focus on lead generation, closing rates, and customer satisfaction.
Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and optimize digital campaigns and telesales efforts. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), and call tracking software is a plus.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership abilities to inspire and manage cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership and engage with customers.
Customer-Centric: A deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviors, particularly in the furniture retail space, and the ability to leverage that knowledge to drive sales and marketing strategies.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
