We are seeking a Medical Officer to join our team and provide high-quality, comprehensive medical services while contributing to business growth, clinical excellence, and healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care Excellence:
Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses.
Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Business Growth & Strategic Initiatives:
Work closely with the business development team to expand CareValue Health’s services.
Lead clinical projects integrating innovative healthcare solutions and technologies.
Support strategic planning to align medical services with company growth objectives.
Team Development & Leadership:
Mentor and support junior medical staff, fostering continuous learning.
Assist in recruiting top medical talent and participate in training programs.
Lead professional development initiatives to enhance clinical competencies.
Operational & Compliance Excellence:
Oversee daily clinical operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinical governance standards.
Implement process improvements to optimize resource utilization.
Innovation & Technology Integration:
Advocate for and implement advanced medical technologies and digital health solutions.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance AI-driven health platforms.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging healthcare technologies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on clinical performance and patient care metrics.
Engage with patients, partners, and the community to build trust and promote CareValue Health.
Foster effective communication across departments to align with company goals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Patient Satisfaction: Measured by feedback and care quality.
Clinical Documentation Accuracy: Adherence to EMR standards and regulatory compliance.
Collaboration & Communication: Effectiveness in working with patients, families, and medical teams.
Operational Efficiency: Timeliness and accuracy of medical tasks.
Regulatory Compliance: Adherence to Nigerian health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates should an MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree.
Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Minimum 5-10 years in clinical practice, preferably in family medicine, general practice, or telemedicine.
Specialty in family medicine is an added advantage

Work Schedule & Conditions
Work Hours: 24-hour alternating shifts, with additional virtual support when necessary.
