This role is pivotal in driving revenue generation, cultivating long-term partnerships, and positioning our client as a leader in delivering innovative solutions to clients across diverse industries.
The Business Development Manager - Digital Transformation, Event Sponsorships, Partnerships, and Consulting Projects - will drive our client’s growth by identifying new opportunities, securing high-value sponsorships, fostering strategic partnerships, and delivering innovative consulting solutions.
This role is pivotal in expanding the organisation’s market presence, enhancing revenue streams, and positioning our client as a leader in digital transformation and consulting services.
By building strong relationships, developing tailored strategies, and ensuring client success, the manager will contribute significantly to organisational growth, brand visibility, and long-term sustainability.
Duties
Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth across digital transformation, event sponsorships, partnerships, and consulting services.
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities in target industries and markets.
Develop sponsorship packages and pitch them to prospective sponsors, highlighting value alignment and ROI.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, ensuring their continued support and satisfaction.
Collaborate with event management teams to deliver impactful sponsorship activations.
Lead efforts to identify client challenges and recommend tailored digital transformation solutions.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful execution of digital initiatives that align with client objectives.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and digital trends to propose innovative solutions.
Identify and pursue consulting opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to deliver customised solutions.
Lead proposal development, client presentations, and project negotiations.
Oversee the delivery of consulting projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and deliver measurable results.
Build and nurture strategic partnerships with corporate organisations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Create and execute partnership agreements that drive mutual value and long-term collaboration.
Act as a liaison to ensure seamless communication and alignment between partners and internal teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality solutions.
Foster strong relationships to secure repeat business and long-term client loyalty.
Conduct market research to identify trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
Use insights to develop innovative service offerings and adapt strategies to remain competitive.
Set and achieve revenue targets for sponsorships, consulting projects, and partnerships.
Prepare and present reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and market trends to senior management.
Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technical teams, to ensure smooth execution of projects and initiatives.
Mentor and support junior team members to build a high-performing business development team.
Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Actively promote the organisation’s services and foster new relationships to drive business growth.
Negotiate contracts, sponsorship agreements, and partnership terms to ensure favourable outcomes for the organisation.
Ensure all agreements comply with organisational policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Transformation, Event Management, or a related field.
Master’s Degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Digital Transformation Expert, CIM) are an added advantage.
5 - 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Proven track record in securing event sponsorships, building strategic partnerships, and leading consulting engagements.
Experience in digital transformation projects, including identifying opportunities and delivering solutions, is highly desirable.
