The Presales Engineer shall be responsible for all Presales activities involving solutions around Intelligent Building Management System (IBMS) and Network (Solution Architecting and Technology Sales) deliverables in the company.
He is ensuring bids and solutions inquiries are attended to within the time committed to meet customer business outcomes at the best possible price. He ensures the submission to bid desk/Sales account managers/executives is of high quality and positions ITH for a win against her competition.
The technology focus is Network, IBMS, and any technology solutions the company takes up at any time. He constantly advises the business on evolving technologies based on market trends and customer requests.
He is responsible for driving OEM/vendor/Distributor engagement to ensure ITH is at the appropriate partnership level supporting her Business with customers.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Participate and oversee all the unit’s Presales activities (Solution Architecting and Technology Sales on Network and IBMS) activities.
Participate in ensuring the proper and cost-effective solution is always proposed
to the customer.
Support sales in achieving company technology financial targets.
Manages the relationship and partnerships with OEMs, Vendors and Distributors.
Plan and deliver technology workshops to customers to generate business opportunities.
Constantly develop self per market needs for technology delivery and global technology trends.
Provides technical support to the Sales and Implementation in the review of new business.
Ensures that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (Key Performance Indicators) in line with business objectives.
Builds relationships with customers and global partners, especially with Team Lead, Network & IBMS, resulting in superior solutions and deeper loyalty and adoption of ITH’s solutions.
Perform other duties that the organization may assign.
Provides in-depth knowledge and expertise on presales and technical activities/ engagement.
Provide the Team Lead, Network & IBMS with reports measuring business performance through data and metrics analysis and develop ways to improve processes.
Regularly conduct research in line with the company's strategic plan and technology activities for enhancing existing and developing new products/services and advising on technical roadmap.
Assess the business risks of new technical, commercial and partnership opportunities.
Requirement
Candidates should possess a B.Tech qualification with 4 - 7 years work experience.
