Danuwa Empowerment Foundation (DANUWA) is a dynamic nonprofit organization committed to creating a society of equal opportunities and dignified life for all, DANUWA focuses on addressing complex societal challenges, particularly in conflict-affected zones driven by inter-communal clashes, resource disputes, natural disasters, and ethnic tensions. As a youth-led organization, DANUWA empowers youths, women, children especially girls, and vulnerable groups through integrated services, advocating for their rights and fostering sustainable change. With a passion for social justice, DANUWA implements innovative programs and initiatives that promote peaceful co-existence, preventing GBV, fostering Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WaSH), ending extreme hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition, and economic empowerment.
Our collaborative approach brings together communities, partners, and stakeholders to create a positive and lasting impact. DANUWA has received support from various donors, including USAID, UNICEF, MSH, CRS, and WHO. Together, we strive to build a more inclusive, equitable, and empowered world for everyone.
