Job Title: Early Years Teacher / Assistant Teacher
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the foundation of young learners' educational journeys in a nurturing and inspiring environment.
As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an engaging, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate curriculum. You will create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
Collaboration lies at the heart of this role. You will work closely with fellow teachers, parents, and the school’s administration to ensure each pupil receives the highest quality education, helping them unlock their potential and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Assistant Teacher:
In this role, you will support the implementation of an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum, helping to create a nurturing environment for young learners' social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
You will collaborate with fellow teachers, parents, and school leadership to ensure each child receives the best educational experience. A commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment is essential.
Requirements
Early Years Teacher:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field
Alternatively, a degree in other fields with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Education
Or, a National Certificate in Education (NCE) with a minimum of 3 years of experience
Professional Experience:
At least two (2) years of experience as an Early Years Teacher
Experience with Jolly Phonics is an advantage
Experience in developing eLearning resources is an advantage
Certifications:
TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification is an added advantage
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories, practices, and teaching techniques
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Basic proficiency with computing devices such as computers, scanners, and printers
Assistant Teacher:
Qualifications: Minimum of NCE
Experience: At least 2 years as an Early Years Teacher; Jolly Phonics and eLearning experience a plus
Certifications: TRCN certification is an advantage
Skills: Strong knowledge of early childhood development, excellent communication skills, and basic computing proficiency.
