About the Role

• As part of our expansion, we are looking to recruit a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive with 5 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• The ideal candidate will support the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the execution of our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Nigerian Upstream Oil and Gas sector, with a focus on expanding the company's client base in the Benin region.
• Build and manage strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Assist in the development and execution of business development strategies aimed at driving market growth and achieving company objectives.
• Support the preparation of bids, proposals, and client presentations that effectively communicate the value of the company’s services.
• Conduct market research and provide updates on upcoming projects, competitor activities, and industry trends.
• Monitor and track progress against business development targets, adjusting strategies as needed to meet goals.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and foster relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and a high level of client satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Geology/Geophysics, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the upstream oil and gas sector.
• A solid understanding of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry, particularly in the upstream sector, including services such as well services, production solutions, and engineering services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
