Job Title: Business Manager (Business & Operations Manager)
The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall day-to-day operations and business of Tamak Logistics.
This role requires someone with experienbce in the Logistics sector, particularly in dispatch & last-mile deliveries.
He/She must be a proactive leader/manager, who can define and execute strategies to increase market share, improve operational efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Develop, communicate, and execute the company's business growth strategy, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and potential revenue streams.
Contribute & ensure that the overall business goals & targets of the firm are met.
Implement and oversee quality control measures to maintain a high level of service quality.
Operations Management & Resource Optimization:
Oversee daily logistics and dispatch operations, ensuring seamless end-to-end order processing.
Manage the full dispatch cycle: client acquisition, order processing, rider assignment, and final delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve service quality.
Ensure the proper maintenance of company assets, including bikes and vehicles.
Implement process improvements and initiatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations and growth team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the department.
Ensure that each team member gives their optimal contribution to the growth of the company.
Business Development & Customer Experience Enhancement:
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other businesses to expand our customer base.
Negotiate and secure long-term contracts with corporate clients. This will typically have its own quarterly target.
Steer up internal collaborations between the different units, to improve the overall customer experience.
Gather customer feedback and implement improvements based on their insights.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the budget for the marketing and operations departments.
Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
Data Analysis:
Utilize data analytics and market research to make informed decisions and drive growth initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and make data-driven adjustments.
Qualifications
A Bsc/Hnd from a reputable Tertiary institution
Proven experience in Logistics and last-mile deliveries, with a track record of driving growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
Salary: N150,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
