Cilantro Restaurant is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in various areas (offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas).
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, etc.).
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, including windows and doors.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.

Restocking and Replenishing Supplies:

• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when stock needs replenishing.
• Ensure that all cleaning materials are used safely and efficiently.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any hazards, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure cleanliness standards meet or exceed company and health regulations.

General Upkeep:

• Maintain a clean and organized cleaning cart and storage areas.
• Ensure that the assigned areas are always presentable, neat, and tidy.
• Clean windows, walls, and carpets as needed.

Additional Duties:

• Assist with deep cleaning or specialized cleaning tasks (e.g., window cleaning, carpet cleaning) as requested.
• Provide support during special events, ensuring areas are cleaned before, during, and after events.
