Job Description
As the Inventory Planning & Warehousing Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of receipt, storage, inventory, and issuance of materials and valuable stock.
Your Contributions
Stock Management: Physically receiving and securing stock items in designated areas within Ikeja Electric’s warehouses.
Quality Assurance: Verifying that all delivered materials conform to specifications before acceptance into the warehouse and prior to supplier payments.
Inventory Control: Conducting periodic physical checks and reconciliations to prevent pilferage and minimize damage.
Reporting and Forecasting: Supervising the compilation of weekly and monthly stock statements and preparing forecasts based on usage trends and consumption patterns.
System Accuracy: Maintaining accurate records in supply systems such as bin-cards and SAGE to ensure data integrity and compliance with audit requirements.

Requirements
This opportunity is a Middle level Management role. The complexity of this role will work across all functions and departments of the business to drive and ensure inventory performance. This role directly reports to the Head of Supply Chain Management. Successful applicants will typically possess the following criteria:
Education:
A relevant degree and/or MBA (or recognized equivalent).
Work Experience:
A Chartered Accountant with relevant experience of 10-12 years.
Membership of a recognized Chartered organization relevant to the post
Cognate Industry experience
