Job Description
The Marketing/Communications Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth.
This role involves developing content, managing campaigns, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels to align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote products, services, or initiatives.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Content Creation and Management:
Create high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.
Ensure messaging aligns with the brand's tone, voice, and strategic objectives.
Digital Marketing:
Manage social media accounts and develop strategies to increase engagement and followers.
Oversee SEO, PPC, and email marketing efforts to drive traffic and conversions.
Communications and Public Relations:
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
Write and distribute press releases and manage crisis communications when necessary.
Brand Management:
Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials.
Conduct brand audits and recommend improvements to enhance brand perception.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct research to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
Use data insights to identify opportunities and guide marketing strategies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, design, and product development, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for specialized services.
Reporting and Documentation:
Track and report on the performance of marketing and communication efforts, including KPIs and ROI.
Maintain an archive of all marketing and communication materials for reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Advanced certifications in digital marketing, content marketing, or public relations are a plus.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
Proven track record in planning and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Skills:
Strong writing and storytelling abilities.
Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Canva).
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media management, and email marketing.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
